Tasting - Cantina Di Casteggio Moscato

  • This fun dessert wine has delicate aromas of citrus, tropical fruit and fragrant white flower. The bright foaming palate offers juicy yellow peach, candied nectarine zest and a hint of rose. It's sweet, but it also has enough fresh acidity to stop it from being cloying. Perfect for the afternoon, weekend, or any other time.
My Tasting Notes

Color: deeper Yellow with straw hues, very thick legs

Nose: Tangerines, orange blossoms, with key lime pie, citrus, and tropical fruit and floral aromas

Palate:
  • Body: 5
  • Acidity: 4
  • Alcohol: 3
Very sweet, big, ripe, and round with good acidity but a bit of a sirupy mouth feel. Ripe yellow peach flavors with sweet kiwis, mangos, citrus, and candied oranges. A bit too sweet for me but definitely a good dessert wine to have after a meal.
